About Quit Victoria

Since our establishment in 1985, there has been considerable progress in reducing the harm that tobacco causes in our community. For example, Victoria's smoking rates have fallen substantially in both men and women. Other advances include legislation to protect people from second-hand smoke, phasing out most cigarette advertising, banning of smoking in workplaces, and exposing tobacco industry practices. These have been achieved through the efforts of many parties, but much more needs to be achieved
