About Jillian Fishing Trips

The southern area of Port Phillip Bay is a fantastic aquatic playground with sights and activities for the whole family. Dad can enjoy the fishing while the kids will delight at the seals, dolphins, pelicans and other wild life. We even get the occasional on-board visit from the friendlier seals! Our day trips and short charters are just the right length to fit in a relaxing lunch before or after at one of the many fine restaurants and pubs on the southern peninsula, you could even BBQ your freshly caught and cleaned fish at one of the many public picnic areas that the area has to offer.With all fishing equipment provided the only thing you need to bring is a cooler bag or small esky and fishing licence. The Jillian is licensed to carry 30 passengers per charter, however for maximum comfort we limit the day trips to 22 people and our twilight trips to approximately 15 people. Working out of Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula the Jillian has had a long, safe and successful history plying the waters of Port Phillip Bay off Rosebud, Rye, Blairgowrie, Sorrento and Portsea. We employ competent charter operators, they will even clean your fish for you, now that's service you don't normally get! Weather permitting, charters depart from the Rosebud Boat Ramp at 8:00 am and return at 12:00 pm for the morning trip and then depart at 1:00 pm and return at 5:00 pm for the afternoon trip.
